The family-run atmosphere made me feel truly valued during my stay. The scenic mountain view from my single room added a peaceful dimension to my experience.
The check-in process felt slightly rushed despite the otherwise attentive service.

Solo traveler relaxing retreat
I got a comfy room with a killer view of those snow-capped peaks. And guess what? They had these home-made cakes waiting for me every day! Like, it was like a secret agent treat for a solo traveler. Just adds that personal touch.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still worth every cent.

Fantastic homemade treats, like fresh cakes left daily in the room, add a personal touch to the stay. The views from the rooms of the surrounding mountains are stunning and truly enhance the experience of being in that environment.
Parking can be a bit of a headache, especially if you drive in during busy times, so you might find yourself searching for space on the nearby streets. In room 4, the shower took some fiddling to get the temperature just right, which any seasoned traveler knows can be a mild inconvenience but isn’t a dealbreaker. those single beds feel narrower than the typical size, so keep that in mind if you're of taller stature.

Exceptional breakfast and warm hospitality
I recently stayed for 3 nights in a Single Room, and the experience was lovely. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided detailed local information, making it easy to explore Keswick. Every morning, I enjoyed an outstanding breakfast cooked to order, with a great selection of options that catered to my every need. The only downside was the narrow street parking, which could be a bit challenging at times.

Perfect for a family escape
I booked this place for a little getaway with my family, and let me tell you, the homemade fruit cake left in our room was a serious bonus. Breakfast was top-notch, I mean the full English was cooked to perfection, the best I've had in a long time.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for the quality we got, it was totally acceptable.
